What we collect
The inquiry form on the Advertise page is the only place this site asks anyone for anything. It has four required fields (business name, your name, email, and what you're interested in) and two optional ones (phone number and a message).
Who processes it
MCKINNEY DIGITAL HOLDINGS LLC operates Dune Guide USA and its destination-guide publications and is responsible for the information collected through this site.
Form submissions are handled by Netlify Forms. Netlify hosts this site and stores submissions on our behalf. We do not pass anything submitted here to data brokers or any third party, and we do not sell it. We use it for exactly one purpose: replying to the inquiry.
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. That request reaches Google with the visitor's IP address, which is how any embedded web font works. We do not control what Google logs from that request.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits, page views, approximate geography, referral sources, browser and device information, and interactions with site links. The active measurement ID is G-ZPTRHTYPRY. Google processes this information on our behalf; we use the reports to understand which guides and planning links are useful.
Links to the destination guides
Every link from this site to Oceano Dunes, Oregon Dunes, Little Sahara, or Silver Lake carries a UTM tag identifying it as network referral traffic. That tag is visible in the URL and is standard analytics practice; it does not identify an individual visitor, only that the click came from this site. Our destination guides are operated by MCKINNEY DIGITAL HOLDINGS LLC. Each guide has its own privacy policy describing the services used on that site.
Cookies
Google Analytics may set a first-party _ga cookie containing a pseudonymous client identifier so it can distinguish users and sessions. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, and Google provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Requesting deletion
If you submitted the advertising inquiry form and want your submission deleted, email michael@ccwheelers.com and reference "Dune Guide USA privacy request." We will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If what this site collects or how it's processed changes, this page will be updated to match. There is no separate notification list; this page is the source of truth.
