What we collect
The inquiry form on the Advertise page is the only place this site asks anyone for anything. It has four required fields (business name, your name, email, and what you're interested in) and two optional ones (phone number and a message).
Who processes it
Form submissions are handled by Netlify Forms. Netlify hosts this site and stores submissions on our behalf. We do not pass anything submitted here to data brokers or any third party, and we do not sell it. We use it for exactly one purpose: replying to the inquiry.
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. That request reaches Google with the visitor's IP address, which is how any embedded web font works. We do not control what Google logs from that request.
Analytics
This site is built to support Google Analytics 4, but it stays switched off unless a measurement ID is configured. If analytics are running, this section will name them and this line will be updated. If you are reading this and it still says the tracking is inert, then it is.
Links to the destination guides
Every link from this site to Oceano Dunes, Oregon Dunes, Little Sahara, or Silver Lake carries a UTM tag identifying it as network referral traffic. That tag is visible in the URL and is standard analytics practice; it does not identify an individual visitor, only that the click came from this site. Each destination guide is independently operated and has its own privacy policy, which governs what happens once you land there.
Cookies
This site does not set any cookies of its own. If Google Analytics is ever switched on, this section will be updated to describe what it sets.
Requesting deletion
If you submitted the advertising inquiry form and want your submission deleted, use that same form to tell us, or reach us through any of the destination guides' contact pages and reference "Dune Guide USA privacy request." We will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If what this site collects or how it's processed changes, this page will be updated to match. There is no separate notification list; this page is the source of truth.
