A note from the founder

Out here, people stop.

When someone breaks down in the dunes, another rider gives up a little of their own day to help. That spirit is a big part of why I built Dune Guide USA.

I love the dune community. In my experience, it is rare to be broken down out there and have people simply pass you by. Someone stops. They check on you. They take time out of their own fun to help.

There is something about being part of this community that makes people want to look out for each other. To me, it feels like a tradition. Being part of it, and helping others discover it, is more than a job. It is a culture and a way of life.

That is part of why Dune Guide USA and its local guides exist. I want people to see the kindness, the family memories, and the care for the places we love. Those experiences deserve to be told.

Maybe your story begins with your first dune trip. Maybe it is the weekend that made you want to come back every year. Or maybe it is about someone who stopped when you needed a hand.

I would love to hear about that person. What happened? What did their kindness mean to you? Those are the stories I want to make room for here.
