Stock up in Waynoka
The state park explicitly directs visitors to Waynoka for groceries and fuel; there are no park concessions. Put the town stop before campground arrival, especially when towing a rig that is easier to park once.
Bring the kitchen details as well as riding gear: meals, drinks, snacks, ice, batteries, toiletries and a way to keep food cool. Assign the shopping list across the group before departure so everyone does not bring the same thing and forget the water.

Give non-riders their own afternoon
The Buttercup observation deck is the designated dune-viewing option. For a break from camp, Oklahoma Tourism’s Waynoka itinerary collects town ideas. Arrange the return meeting time before the riding group leaves.
