Daily or annual riding pass
The park lists an annual pass at $300 plus tax, sold at the office. The office schedule is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; dune access remains 24 hours. Keep pass purchasing separate from your plan for a late arrival.

Equipment requirements
The park requires a whip reaching 10 feet above ground and a solid bright-orange 6-by-12-inch flag within 10 inches of its tip. Night use requires vehicle-powered white front and red rear lights.
Buggies and 4x4s need a suitable roll bar and a belt for each passenger. Riders under 18 outside a structured roll cage must wear a helmet. ATVs may carry a passenger only when designed for one. Review the park’s child-restraint provisions as well.

Viewing the dunes on foot
Pedestrian traffic is prohibited in the dune riding area. The park directs spectators to the Buttercup observation deck. Alcohol is prohibited in the riding area.
