Choose a camp before the convoy arrives
BLM lists 13 pull-through campground units, with tables and fire rings, plus dispersed camping elsewhere in the area. Its published stay limit is 14 days. Check which areas are open before choosing a dispersed spot.

Pack for the whole stay
Confirm water, waste arrangements and current fire restrictions with the field office. A fire ring does not establish permission to burn. Keep an arrival alternative in your plan if your preferred spot is occupied.
- Record the camp location and the road used to reach it.
- Bring layers and check the overnight forecast.
- Keep parking and group gathering clear of travel lanes.
- Agree where late arrivals should wait.
Keep the camp comfortable for everyone
Keep dogs leashed and pack out rubbish. Use the posted camp speed limits, especially around children and parked rigs. A quiet arrival is a better welcome than riding laps through camp.

Give late arrivals something they can use
Before leaving camp, share its saved location, your vehicle description and a time to check in. Write down the County Road 6 and 6N approach as well as your chosen camping area. A destination pin alone does not tell a friend which trailer is yours.

The current BLM visitor page lists no site entrance or camping fee. That is separate from the Colorado OHV credential. It describes tables and fire rings but does not establish a dependable potable-water supply. Arrive with drinking and cooking water for the stay; treat a refill as unconfirmed until BLM tells you otherwise.
