Walden is the supply decision
BLM places the area about 11 miles northeast of Walden, but its actual road directions add up to roughly 15.5 miles: Highway 125 for 10 miles, County Road 6 for 3.5, then County Road 6N for 2. Those figures describe the approach, not a distance to a selected campsite.
Use Walden as the planning stop before the county-road approach. Put water, food, drinks, ice, batteries and return-trip fuel on the list. Choose actual businesses and opening hours before leaving rather than assuming the campground can fill the gaps.
