Camp Compass is absolutely free, because we care about you. Atlas walks you through setup at your pace.

1. Open Camp Compass in Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android and allow location access.
2. Add it to your Home Screen, then open it from the new icon while connected.
3. Check your location reading and save a practice place. Keep any existing camp safe.
4. Reopen without Wi-Fi or mobile data and confirm your saved place is still there.
5. Remove only your practice entry. Mark your real campsite when you arrive.
